Welcome to South Georgia Softball.  The home for the best girls fastpitch softball tournaments in the Southern Part of Georgia. 

All ASA tournaments are run in conjunction with and sanctioned by Georgia ASA.

All tournaments are promoted by
Ty Rietkovich  .  To enter into any of the listed events, please send an e-mail with your team name, contact's name and phone number, age group and classification and the event(s) which you want to enter to Ty at sgasasoftball@aol.com.

South Georgia Softball is the host for the biggest tournament inSE Georgia, THE QUEEN OF DIAMONDS SOUTHERN SHOOTOUT.  Each year this event attracts some of the best teams in girls fastpitch softball and fill up fast.  If you are interested in this years event, go to the May 2008 Tournaments page.

ASA RULES TO REMEMBER -
1)    Metal spikes or cleats are phohibited in all ASA events.
2)    Every batter must have an approved helmet with a facemask and a chin strap.
3)    Each coach needs to make themselves familiar with the ASA rules for legal number of players batting and in a line-up.
4)    For these ASA Invitational's roster's can be provided by the team and for information purposes only.  Your roster is not frozen or official until you play in a National Qualifier and your roster in red-lined by a state ASA JO official.
5)    Teams planning to move on to any of the ASA National Events must register their team and players through the Georgia ASA Site.
6)    The pitching distance for 18u GOLD, A & B will be 43'.
6)    Teams not planning to move on to any of the ASA National Events can register their team for $20 at any of these ASA sanctioned events.
